The sad news is that I no longer own a C3 Vette.

The good news is that I now own a C5.

Picked it up yesterday.

2004 Coupe, LeMans Blue Commemorative Edition, Auto with HUD and 2 tops.

Hope the new owner got a invite to join the C-3 group and a promise to keep the ride in the "FAMILY" by joining us in get togethers. Now we need to wait for our FRIENDS Wink

Wow Dave - What a beauty.....I'll miss the flag car - I always loved when I parked next to you. I could steal some attention, just by association...lol!

You know, I really do enjoy driving both - they each have their own charm. My C5 is my daily driver, so when I take the C3 out - it really still feels special.

Can't wait to see it in Buffalo! You're really going to enjoy driving it !!

So, I too am a member of "VA" (Vettes Anonymous) Clap

You know that saying, "Drive it like you stole it"? Well....I did ! Long story & I'll share it at the gathering with anyone interested in hearing me babble on, but the short version is I fell in LOVE with it at Carlisle last year, passed o it (Stuntman was leary due to the reconstructed title) & then fate played it's hand I got the car!!

I would like to bring them both to the gathering, since it's not that far - putting new seat foam in the C3 right now & refurb'ing the original seat covers so I can reassemble. Stuntman is adding electric motors to the headlights instead of replacing actuators & relays.... again.
