This is really sad. This car was from the club I'm in, "Mother Lode Corvettes". As great as it sounds, I don't go on this run because of the high cost. I don't know how to shrink this so I hope you all will forgive me.

Gang - Les and I just returned from Laguna Seca with our friends Pat & Terry that some of you met in Oregon. Their car won the "judges choice" award at the Councors Auto Rally in Pacific Grove Friday night. They were in a special corral at Laguna Seca yesterday, which featured cars from each year the Vette was made, and we all drove in the Corvette featured parade lap (along with about 150 other Vettes). Their car was noticeably unique.

THEIR 1962 VETTE WAS STOLEN FROM PACIFIC GROVE BETWEEN 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM LAST NIGHT AFTER WE HAD DINNER. IT WAS STOLEN FROM THE BED & BREAKFAST IN PACIFIC GROVE. MORE THAN 1 CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THE AREA. THIS PICTURE IS BEING SHARED ON FACEBOOK AND SOME CAR SITES LIKE CORVETTE FORUM. WE NEED TO KEEP SPREADING THE WORD. PAT AND TERRY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE AND ARE SICK ABOUT IT, AS ARE WE. THEY HAVE A VERY SENTIMENTAL ATTACHMENT TO IT SINCE PAT RESTORED IT.

Update for those who heard this last month. From the "Motherlode Corvettes" in Sonora, Ca.
