I agree!! Who has that kind of money just laying around??!!!??  Censored
If people want to throw money around like that, then they can donate it to the "Help Shane pay off his college loans" foundation.   It's a tax write off as well. Wink

While I would love to own this car, I could never convince she who must be obeyed to spend money for a car that cost more than our first house.  Besides, the price is WAY too high! Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing sundew2007-11-26 10:57:22

The first of a series is really NOT what collectors want...they want the LAST of the series. A C5 isn't gonna be worth all that much for a LOOOONG time, anywho...

Also, unless I am mistooken, it ain't the First C5 built...with a VIN of #396, it would be a stretch. Now then, it might be the first C5 built FOR SALE to the public. GM did build quite a few "pilot line" cars, but I don't remember there being 300+ built.

There might be some sort of unusual history with this one, but...looks kinda fishky tuh me.

As far as Yager, he has several "Last" cars, including the "Last 20th Century Corvette(1999 C5) Built". I was there when he picked it up at the dealership here in Irving...
