Mind you I like classic carz but why do this?

STUD-MAKER

I have a soft spot for the Studebaker. My 1st truck was a 49 with 6 volt flathead 6 cyl, 3 on the tree. This truck like many of their carz had attributes ahead of their time. It was a cherry while I owned it. Soon therafter it met itz demize when a later owner axed it up while attempting to "build (a loose term) a monster truck outta what was a fine piece of history.

I had a buddy who had one of these wagons in a beige color. Ran like a top. But a vette engine in a Stud - Maker? What was this dude thinkin? Speed?

I like Studies...used to own one. While I would have preferred to keep it stock with the Stude engine, maybe it wasn't an option, hence the small block.

Stude engines were good and strong, but that wagon will fly with the engine in it now.

It's just as likely someone will take that engine out for a different project and drop in something else. Either way, it looks like someone is going to buy a nice car.Gunslinger2007-04-06 12:28:18
