I have heard zero negative response to the dates. While I do not make the assumption that I am the decision maker on the dates - I am recommending that we agree with May 16-20 2012. Arrive on Wednesday and depart on Sunday.

Wouldn't it still come down to having a host hotel lined up? What dates do they have a block of rooms? (We like nice places)

I think this is fine. Those dates worked well for many folks in 2011.

I hereby decree these be the official dates.
