I agree with Dave, Adam. If you're not driving a C3 out, you might as well fly and relax on the way out and back. Especially if you don't have a travel buddy or convoy. 13 hour drive is boring by yourself, also flying has less risk of major delays (like accidents). Do what you have to, just BE THERE! And Rich, now you're going again??????????

Well, I booked a flight.  Cuts my commute in half, from 13 hours to around 6 hours door-to-door.
I'll still have about a 1-1/2 hour drive from the airport to Effingham.  They really need an airport in Effingham! I should be at the hotel around 6pm.  Hopefully there is some dinner plans for those that will be there Wednesday night.
