Ebo I was staying out
of this thread because I have not been to a gathering. But you got me on your comment.
Guys we are not a click maybe we should stop talking like we are a click.
I joined, then stayed and became a life member because of a number of you
all (doing my southern imitation) welcomed me helped me and did not make fun of some of the stupid stuff I asked. One even went as far as to connect me up with a link on ebay for something I wanted. That is going the extra mile.
I will say some were a bit standoffish especially on Wednesday nights
and I stopped trying that venue a long time ago. I do not know nor care if that is available anymore because of that. I do not go to the Crossfire or the CE forums because they suffer some what from inactivity and can be a little standoffish sometimes. I know that there are good people on all of them, good info on them and a number of the guys on this forum belong to those also. But whereas I try to connect up to this forum every day I check the other much less frequently.
Be careful of what you wish for you are either growing or dying. I'm personally against the dying thing at this time. To grow you have to be open and inviting. Take it public offers some advantages:
1. 1.
It is a good time to meet new people and get
them involved in the C3VR family. Does
not mean you cannot have time with your personal friends it must means making
time for getting new friends.
2. 2.
May help with the organization of the event
3. 3.
You get to park your car in front of Yegar’s
house
May be it should be both some public some private.
There is nothing wrong with having it public and having a members parking area so you can easily find forum members. I like that idea.
