Ok, so I finally had had it with the worthless, floppy, Chinese mirrors I had on the car.  Just got the made in USA mirrors from Paragon ($135 for the pair) and they are rock solid!  Wish I had done this in the first place.  Beer

I will have to remember that the next time I purchase mirrors. I did get some from China and they are great, at this time, guess we will see in a couple of years come. I was surprised at how will they were made.??? Purchase off ebay!

F4Gary, did you find the USA mirrors had more adjustability than the old ones?  Here's my problem.  I put in a right-hand mirror.  Either I didn't get the screw holes quite right, or the mirror isn't quite right, but I find I can't adjust the outer edge back far enough to see the right-hand fender.  I can if I stretch my neck but that's not good.  I'm wary of mucking with the mounting holes.

I'll have to try it.  I like to have my right side mirror adjusted out to where the fender is just out of view.  Gives me a better look at someone in my right rear blindspot.

For you people who have sloppy mirrors for a temp fix put some locktite on the ball and work it in behind the mirror adjust the mirror let it set, you can still adjust the mirror a couple times before you need more locktite

I tried that many times, didn't work worth a crap.  Paragon had the pair of USA made mirrors for $135.  I wish I had bit the bullet years ago instead of trying to glue my Chinese crap mirrors.
