Joanne,
I have  purchased 2 different scoops from them. Both were very nice quality. I thought their shipping was a little slow but other then that all was good. Also the pricing seems to be good as well. If you need a pic of one that is not on yet let me know as the one for my Dodge is still in the box.

You puttin an L88 scoop on the Dart, Rodney?? LOL

I don't have a clue where we got the L-88 scoop for the '72 years ago, but it was the tall one... taller than the original.  Bonded on, and looked perfect. Not sure how long it was, either....I'm sure it was whatever the stock length was/is. We did cut out a hole in the hood, but did not install the complete L-88 underside ducting....we just need the extra clearance for the high rise intake/carb.

I'm just making a guess but I would think the short L88 scoop would be for the short hoods which were on the 68 through 71 or 72 model Vette. Later models have longer hoods but again this is just a guess. I looked at the Ecklers catalog and it shows the short and long scoop but it does not mention any particular years.

well the l88 project is off.

spoke to Unlimited today, they want $380 shipping.

I got a full exhaust over to uk for less.

cant see how they justify that cost.

So what if you inquire about a whole L88 hood instead? Maybe it would be more feasible to just buy the whole hood and pay a bit more in shipping. Less hours in bodywork.
Call or contact places like Mid America, Bair's, Ecklers, ACI...hell call or contact them all. Maybe it might work out better.

I checked all of them,sarge.

It seems the manufactures(stinger fibreglass) do the shipping, and they are way over the top.

any way got one off summit racing.scoop, a few other bits. $423 including shipping and taxes paid.

that shipping was about $180.go figure.

Joanne, Sorry to hear that your project is off. If you still need pics I can take some on sunday. My camera is with my daughter on her trip to France but should be back tomorrow. Shipping has stopped me from buying things as well.

what we have to pay here is:

cost + shipping

vat=20% +6% import duty.then fedex, usps and others hit you with a handling free about $20

al this adds up fast, sometimes more then the org. order.

don't mind fedex as they get stuff here with in a week, sometimes 4 days.
