On the deck lid for my 72 convertible there was one stand off that bolts to the deck on the right side. When I looked in the aim it looks as though there should be one on each side of the decks bottom. it also shows that a rubber bumper should thread into each one. What is this for and where can I get these at? I didnt see them at any vendor.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the purpose of the bumpers is to keep the soft top from bouncing up against the deck lid.
Seems like I had seen those listed somewhere....have you tried Paragon?
OR maybe Larry at Corvette Specialties? He's been hit pretty hard by the economy, and I'm sure would appreciate the business...

I was going to call Larry today anyway, He helped me with some other hard to find parts last month. Great guy. I didnt know there purpose so I was looking for that as well. I would guess that you are correct Joel. I thought they had to have something to do with the top since nothing else was there. Hopefully Larry will have a set of them with bumpers.
