Make a list of all of the spots you see on the car that need the painter's attention as you see them. If ya don't, you'll forget to tell him where they are...btdt...Disapprove
Gotta see some pics!

Umm Rod,.....Dean does have a point.....loose the red marker. Take some photos each side, front back, doors hood what ever then mark up the photos. Count how many spots and confirm that count to the photos. As he completes each one check them off the list. (that would be a punch list..)

Sorry about the wife thing.....not sure if we can help you with that.....just remember what happened to the last couple that owned the carShockedOuchAngry

Whats wrong with the marker method! It worked good the first time. Cant wait to help you guys mark your spots!!
As for the wife thing I really didnt think about the previous owners when I told her that.
We put the hood and top deck on today. Supposed to have the painter coming back on Monday to redo the detail work. I want to start putting some chrome back onit but dont want to do that before he completes his job.

Rod, is the a base/clear paint system? If so, the clear coat is very forgiving and your painter should be able to work out any trouble spots...

Now lets see some pics!!

Yea, Its base coat clear coat. PPg's best. I dont plan on doing anything to it for a few weeks. Going to contact the Zaino group tomorrow and see what I can use of their products on new paint. Maybe nothing but i am hoping they have something. he car will sit inside now for the winter. I'll get pics up sometime this weekend. Hope to put the new wheels on one side and the factory wheels on the other side then decide which I like. I'll post both sides.
Rodney

Rod for sure talk to Sal and tell him you are from our group! Remind him of the BBQ. Sal started as a custom Corvette Shop and specialized in custom painting, the reason he ended up in the polish buisness is no one made any type of polish or wax to protect from UV fadeing the clear coats.
He's a great guy when you call wait till about 10am he most likley will be the one that picks up the phone.
