All three of "The Toys" are inside most of the time.  "The Beast" came with a nice flannel lined cover that I have yet to figure out the brand - no tags anywhere, just an emblem screened into the nose area.  "The Toy" came with a dust cover but I picked up a Wolf cover a few years ago incase it had to spend any extended time outside.  "BIGBRRD" also came with a Wolf cover but after the resto I ordered a flannel backed cover from California Car Cover Company (clickable link).  Of the bunch it is by far the nicest, excellent fit, and very, very soft on the side that touches the paint.  The guy who did the paint was impressed with it - and he doesn't like car covers! I only cover my Joker with a California car cover, Superwave cover. 2 year old and still like new. Come with 4 year warranty, worth the money $369.00 when you have so much money invested in custom paint, the cover cost is nothing.  Indoor outdoor Very nice. NO JOKE! Sadly, Wolf is out of business. I had a Wolf cover for my C3 and lover it. The cover I bought for my C4 is made from NOAH fabric. I expect it will last a long time, since the C4 is rarely covered outside. There are several covers out there that will do a good job. Just rememebr that you get what you pay for.

Wow I had to think for a minute( thats is scary) my cover is now 30 years old, it tan with flannel lining, always inside. It also has a silk screened emblem on the nose but I think it Says Corvette America on it.

I agree with Tux I'm thinking we may get some deals at the gathering.

I never did get a cover for mine..I just can't do it..I want and need to see the motivation for me to go to work everyday..if its covered up I may just quit my job..and that would make the sig other upset! I know everyone likes the car cover thing..I just figured if its in the garage why cover it up?   But if I did get a cover it would be made of the flanel..I think they are pretty inexpensive and are meant for inside only..I guess it would keep the dust off it..

Hey joker..did they make your cover with the blower bump in it?

Rich

I got a Covercraft Dustop cover for my '80.  Here is the link.

Following the advise of the guy who painted my car last August, I haven't used it yet this year.  He said it would be better to let the paint completely cure for an extended period of time before I put a cover on it.  Since I keep the Vette in the garage, it's really no big deal either way.

I get a lot of dust in my garage. So I don't like to leave it uncovered. My new paint is now six months old so I just buffed it out and started with wax. Looks great, but hate the dust. However North Texas has nothing but 35 to 50 mph winds for the last three weeks.  Tornados within 30 miles, no car cover will save it.

When I put my vette in storage for the winter, I cover it for 6 months.  I park in a pull barn that a friend of mine has.  There is a name on the cover but I do not remember what it says.  I would wait and see what kind of deal you can gt next moth from Mike Yager.  See ya there!!
