I've been trying out different treatments for faded plastic trim.  The usual mass market suspects have all washed off the first sight of water.  I finally added a bottle of Forever Black on a recent order and I think it's a keeper!
The black paint on my mini van daily driver really calls attention to the dull black plastic ends on the roof rack.
The bottle has an applicator on it so it goes on easy one handed and glosses up the dull plastic nicely.  Two washings so far and it still looks great!

Can I use it on the vinyl trim on the edge of my glass tops? They are always turning milky brown.Angry

You should be able to use that on your vinyl trim Dave.  Another good product is Stoners' Trim Shine.  Not as durable as Forever Black though.  You can usually pick it up at NAPA stores.

I like Stoners but am always up for something new.... E-bay huh? I like buying stuff and having it sent to the door better. Especially when I don't have to pay tax on it! Thnxz, Steve!Tuxblacray2007-08-21 18:03:43

Forever Black advertises itself as more of a "dye" than a "trim shine" product.  It comes in a bottle with a shoe polish-type applicator.  I've seen one side by side comparison of all the trim products, and Forever Black did hold up the longest (according to the poster).

I got tired of hanging out with them.  They weren't too motivated and kept talking about having the munchies...LOL

Good to hear about a product that works.  My truck just turned over 234,000 miles tonight, and the black on the bumper does look a little faded!
