OK Vinegar? Mixed or straight up? I know my wife uses vinegar to clean out the coffee maker. Does it cut through water spots?

I like vinegar & water mixture along with newspaper to clean glass with. Somehow I don't think I could bring myself to put it on my clearcoat though.

A good clay bar treatment will remove the waterspots. Scratches will need to be buffed then polished. I'm old school so everything is done by hand for me. I know it doesn't have to be that way but I enjoy the bonding with the blacray and the results!.

How about water spots just on glass? I've tried everything I know and can't get them off.

I like vinegar & water mixture along with newspaper to clean glass with.

Then I wax the outside glass along with the car. (No need for RAINX.

I personally love claybar. It works great on everything. I brought back the shine on my 97 blk farm truck. Its had never been waxed and wasn't washed the first 7 years I owned it.

Thanks Scott and Jamie. I guess that's one thing I haven't tried. I think I remember someone talking about this problem in the past about maybe the glass being etched from acid rain or chemicals in the water? If that's the case, can it possibly be polished/buffed off?

Water spots on glass when I detailed cars in the 80's we used the super fine steel wool with distilled water or windex, sprayed on and rubbed lightly and it cut through the water spots (hard water deposits) and then cleaned the glass as usual. Of course the steel wool will be Big%20smileone use only.
