Hello again, I put on a new seal kit on the inner header core side with new nuts and bolts and was missing some of the rubber and fiber at the back wall that goes between the box and firewall. I bought some rubber seal spray and took some thin rug, sprayed the rug on the inside with the seal and folded it over then sprayed the back of the firewall to seal the rug to the wall. I put in the inner heater core side and then started with the blower side. I had a problem with the bolt grooves on the upper fender side and had to buy a kit to regroove the bolt to attach the nut. The blower box had a crack, so I fixed the crack and tried the box on before putting on gasket glue. I had a tough time and got it on only to find a crack on the fender side of the box that happened when mounting. I now have to remove the box again and fix the crack. I am trying to not have to many projects going at the same time. The box seems to be fitting in  too tight, I was hoping on any helpful suggestions. I am also working on my dash, putting in a remote color change Led Gauge kit that fit 1968-1977 Corvettes. The kit has lights for the Tach, Speedo and Gauges that you can change to any color and can also get lighter or dimmer as you want. While I have the dash apart I am going to get my tach working. I accidentially got a spark trying to hook up power to the tach but I don't see any burn spots on the circuit board , but still not working. I have a new circuit board and Tach filter ordered. I know there is no signal coming from the filter, so I by pass the filter and got power. Now I know the filter was not working. Thanks for now and future knowledge, ZAPPAREX

Where did you get the LED kit.  I did not know they had one that would allow you to dim the lights.  Change color also sound interesting.

The rest of the stuff you have done I had to do also on my 82.  That was not interesting.

I was on ebay one day and seen the Led Lighting for sale from Full Throttle Corvette. You can go to the email and view a video at { inclusivelighting.com,} and you look for 1968-1977 corvette and it shows you how to install into the tach, speedo and instrument cluster. You take out all your lights except all of the red light, such as seat belt, temp, parking brake etc. I found it very interesting and figuired I would probably be the only one around to have this in my surrounding area. Check it out,  ZAPPAREX

Thanks Danascar for replying but the blower side is fixable the inner heatercore side I am working on. I need some rubber sealant and see the outside blower bolt is bent. I am going to put the core side in and tighten it up to the firewall without the blower side on and make sure there is a good seal and then remove the nuts and put on the blower side on. I used to much force when putting them on last time.  ZAPPAREX

I think I have fixed the inner heater core side and just have to fix the the one bolt hole on the blower motor side. I also straightened the bolt for the blower motor side at the bottom. I also had my fender splash shields off, when I put on my chrome mesh fender grills. My inner wheel well at the splash shield was broken and the bolt holes were larger than the bolts, so I bought a fiberglass kit and fixed the wheel to splash shield mount and the bolt holes under the side rails. I will finish the tach and dash this coming weekend when I get the new circuit board and tach filter this week. Then its time to take off the front bumper an other parts to put in the body mounts. It has taken awhile but it is coming along and I plan to be driving by my insurance time and change from Blazer to corvette.  I'll be talking to YA,  Thanks ZAPPAREX
