Car (78) is ready for the road. Pulled AC components out when I started rebuild. Car didn't have compressor or brackets. Evap and condenser checked good on vacuum check. Looking for a recommedation on a kit with newer style compressor. Vintage Air doesn't  have a kit for 78. Nostalgic air parts says they can supply parts but haven't dealt with them before. Any suggestions appreciated.

I had great luck with Nostalgic Air.

When it came to fittings they were very good to work with.

Thanks Brian, I've e-mailed back and forth with Jon and  seems to be very knowledgeable. Great site you have, answers lots of questions.

Redwing, Ordered everything new, sanden kit, Allan Grove brackets, lat flow condenser, hoses etc. and will start putting it in next week. Did you use a C-4 fan and was it a delco, delphi etc. . ? Did it increase the airflow to where it was noticable? Also, thanks for the part # for the fan connector

I bought the C4 fan from the local auto parts store. It came with the motor and fan. I do not remember what the brad was off hand.
