A couple years ago I installed a new control head assembly while doing a referb of the center console.  Thought that I had hooked up the temp control cable correctly, but didn't really check out further as knew that A/C had other troubles.  Had a friend work on the A/C system last week to get it operational.  Thought they had it completed, but the temp cable connection to the control head seemed stressed.  Another friend stopped by and said that the cable should be routed slightly diff to allow easier assembly and operation of the temp lever.  That seemed to work as hoped.  Cable seemed to stay in position.
Temp here in Indiana was very cold when work was completed, so couldn't really check out the proper operation.  I had it warmed up this morning while doing some other work and turned on the A/C.  No cold air.  Fan is working, but air coming out of vents seemed hot.  Wondering if temp cable came out of position and was in hot side.
Is there any magic/pics to getting the temp cable to connect to the control head?

I might be able to dig up a diagram of the routing of the cable....not sure, but I'll look.
Sure hope the A/C freon dint all leak out, and is causing the problem!

Gary, I sent ya some info on the HVAC system, but not sure if it will help with the routing of the cable. Prolly need to check the AIM for that. I'll keep lookin, tho. Thumbs Up

Joel, thanks for the note.  I dug out my old AIM as suggested and it does have a couple good bits on the cable connection.
Too cold here today to think about A/C.  Freeze warning over much of central Indiana tonight.
Take care
Gary
