I recently installed electric fans - love them by the way.

Not sure what's going on with yours.  What is is?  I am not sure on the pump - is the fan a toggle or a thermo switch?  If its a thermo where did you put it?  Try taking the wires from the thermo and grounding them -- the fans should turn on.  If they don't turn on with the ground than you have a bad motor.  The key is to start eliminating potential problems so that you narrow in on the issue.

Thanks Ghost,

Its a Jeggs fan 16"and a ProForm water pump. I'm not sure where to run wire for battery, I had it hooked to fuse box possibly BAt tab or ing tab. Confused  I ran ground to frame, grey wire to thermo sensor in manifold w 195 thermostat. I'm pretty sure it's due to how I had wires run. I also have relays for both and circuit breakers 30 amp for each. I'm just lost, It took me a while to hook up my new gauges also.............

Thanks for all your help Beer

Wiring for an electric fan will usually be done similar. Here's how mine was run:

Heavy ground wire from fan to frame.

Heavy hot wire from fan to heavy input wire on relay.

Heave output wire from relay to Batt (I ran mine to the starter lug)

14 Ga sensor wire to sensor in intake manifold (sensor supplied with relay)

14 Ga ignition wire run to ignition source from fuse panel.

Good Luck!!Big smile

Do you have AC? If you do then you may want a manual switch to turn on the fan when the AC is on. If you're in traffic with the AC on and no fan to cool the condenser than your AC system will build up too much pressure and cause problems.

Keep in mind it is the setting of the sensor you installed that turns on the fan 210 sounds ok I am not sure other guys with fans could let you know what theirs are set at. a 195 thermostat just means the water temp needs to get to 195degrees  before it will open and allow the coolant to flow through the engine.
