I am enclosing a pic of how I have my lines attached from the vac ac/ht control.  With them connected this way They are not controlling as they should.

The only question I have is the white line coming from the ht core attachment is to go to the hot water shut off which has been removed from my car. I have a on off valve to shut the hot water off to the core. so how should the end of this hose white line be kept.

I have no movement of the  valve with the white and black lines attached to it above the htr core, is there not a valve that is to open and close on the end usiong the vac lines, mine does not move so it is broken althought I just replaced it or the liines are connected wrong.

I am going back to the book and step by step make sure I have them connected as per phot but I think I already have it but they are not commanding as they should .  All new vac lines and switches.  all vac diaphrams work, the plenum door does not move it stays open with every position of switch...

ok back to the car and book.

Have that diagram and I feel I have it hooked up that way unless my ac/htr control is messed up but bought it new 2 yrs ago.  The white vac line coming from the ht water shutoff switch inside the car going to the shutoff switch  in the engine bay I do not have the switch in the engine bay. so what do I do with that vac line???

Plug it or how should it be so it does not mess up anything else.

Have a manual valve like most to stop the hot water into the core if I want. could this me messing me up?

Most definitely plug any hose you are not using. In your diagram that you drew, you have a part that says "This is not moving", and then the white hose you say used to go to the heater shut-off valve is just laying there open...that's a big leak in that circuit, which explains why the part that does not move is not moving.
Also, ANY leak in the vac system is gunna cause a problem, so be sure you plug any hoses not being used. Sometimes it also helps to block off certain items in the system to determine if other parts of the system will work. If you block one valve, and the rest of the stuff starts working, then you know you have a leak in that one circuit.

And...you say the switch is one you bought new two years ago. It's possible the switch has dried out, and will no longer properly seal the circuits. I've seen even new ones off the shelf that dint work, so new don't mean it's good. Just food for thought....Thumbs Up

No I got that vac line plugged, and where the lights vac line attaches.  Just trying to fined some chart that tells in english which doors or flaps to be open with the ac/htr positions.

ht core door flap the plenum and the side floor vent, they just seem to be out of syinc, but do not have a plain chart that states this is the poition of the doors at each setting. It seems the plenum door is always open other than air and the vent door is open little or the ht core door is open most of the time and to me this is letting heat in even though your in heat position.  I will get there but frustration is fogging the mind and just little bits of time to look at it.  Hope to find some answers at Carlisle.  Thanks again for all the posts, heater core was the easy part getting vac lines and red starter wires to work is a different thing.
