I just ordered a ES 1001-C Alternator from White Preformance but am now not sure if I need to do anything else to install it.
I have read a few people in this forum had to add a second wire from the Alternator to the battery as the higher AMP unit burned up the wire.
I have a 1980 wth an aftermarket 85 AMP unit in it now and there are no concerns with the wiring.
I am updating it because of the issue I have with the stereo cutting out when at idle.
Any help/thoughts and input much appreciated.
I am going to Carlisle in a week and am reluctant to install it now for fear of trouble on the road.
Thanks,
Martin
