NSS was a problem for 2 weeks; occassionally I had to "jimmy" the lever in park to engage NSS to start the car.  Now, I cannot find the "sweet spot" whilst adjusting the NSS.  It will not start by jumping the purple to the purple with white stripe.  One fellow advises that jumping there will not work on an automatic (mine); need to jump purple to yellow but there is not yellow!  At the rear of the NSS is green (reverse, I think) red and red with white.
Advice?   Also, what trick is used to get out the rearmost screw holding the NSS; it is in a depression and my little socket does not have room to move!  I have ordered a new NSS but who knows?
