Hey all !
Just noticed that on my 75 Coup, the license plate light bulb socket it just hanging from the wires out the T shaped cutout in the rear panel. I need to find the correct bracket or whatever is supposed to be holding the license plate light bulb fixture to the body. I checked with my fingers through the T shaped cut out and don't feel anything. Just hollow space.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Trent.

The lamp should be fitted to the back side of the bumper cover, and held in with two screws from the outside. Assy manual doesn't show a "t-shaped hole" as you describe, but a search does show the rear cover for a '75 to have that type of hole. What does your light fixture look like? This?

Thanks for the reply.
I don't have the fixture. Just the bulb, socket and wires. The light works.

The picture you have there does look like what I need.

There aren't any holes around the opening where the fixture should mount though.

Do you know if the fasteners pivot above the opening to mount the fixture ?

Where would you think I could buy that fixture?

Thanks.

Trent.
