I rebuilt my original over a year ago and never put in the new replacement I purchased.  Original went out again and put in the replacement which I though was good and it does the same thing as the original.  When I operate the switch it arcs within the switch.  Do I have bad switches or something else going on here?  One other thing, neither switch has the internal plastic barrier.
