Well my AM/FM/CB factory antenna broke a few weeks back. Got the mast repair kit for the CB model. I read an older post here and it all went well this morning. Only twist was the boot at the end of the mast on the new AC Delco part did not fit my housing, so I just reused the old boot. It always feels good to fix something on these old cars where you don't have a clue what you are doing when you start the job. Thanks everyone for the knowledge base and comradery on this site!

Yep, living with these cars is always an adventure and a never ending learning experience. Glad the antenna project worked out well.
