Corvettes are rarely seen on the road here, unlike the 60s Mustangs which are plentiful (I had a 67); whether they be C3s or earlier/later. Did see what must have been an 81 just last week, as it was still LH drive which local rules require m/b 30 years old minimum. Might be many more Corvettes that are show cars only and not on the road. The Corvette C3 Registry shows just a handful of Australian C3 Vettes here. Any car with a build date prior to 01 January 1969 is fully exempt from the Australian Design Rules, and therefore only subject to general 'roadworthy' rules which are quite basic in most states (Vic's are lengthy but readily met). Cheers.
