As I am cleaning the engine compartment and moving wires and hoses I found what I thought at first was a broken wire that was in the harness on the drivers side with the left front turn signal/side marker harness. When I looked closer at the inside it appears to be a fiber optic wire. Then when I looked at the right side harness there is one on that side as well. I know that in 72 they did not use fiber optics. So is it possible that this has been replaced with an older front harness or did they use left over harnesses from a 71? I think fiber optic was still used in 71? Has Bubba been doing wiring on my car at some point!
Thanks Rodney

IF this is an early build '72, they prolly did use the fios harness, since the harness itself would work, as far as lighting concerns go.

Joel, I'll have to check the dates when I get home Wednesday. I found this last Sunday then I forgot to post the question. I was bored yesterday when I remembered it so I posted about it so I dont forget again. I am not sure when it was built in 72. I dont think I ever checked it out before! Thanks for the reply and I'll check it out.
Rodney
