1976 Stingray matching numbers. Stock 350 rebuilt, comp cam, roller rockers, push rods, 2.02 valves, +.30 flat tops, frontend & suspension rebuilt Dec 08. Interior from firewall 90% July. New exhaust, Collector plates, Paint will have to wait...& wait.

It is up on the heater box just above the gas pedal, it activates the defrost door I believe. I have attached a picture of mine when I was taking it apart (click here to see). See if that helps you work it out.

It is on the driverr side of the car Adam. If you look under the dash, you will see it!!!

See of your defroster works Adam. Changing from vents to defrost on the HVAC controls and not going from vents to defrost would be a good conformation. Wink

I am away from home for work so been off the computor, how did you make out Adam? Find the missing link LOL

under the dash, it is a tought one to get at.

As for the Vega steering wheel Dan I like to think it was an extreme upgrade for the Vega's so they put it into the 76 vettes to do it justice.

If that hose is tan I beleive it is for the AC bi level this might help
