T-sig/haz flasher should be right in the area of the fusebox. Not sure if there are 2 separate ones on a '72, but I don't see why there would be.

I had the LED lights on my '69 for awhile.  I made no change to the flashers and they worked fine.  The lights did look odd on the car, but I was so used to the originals anything else would have looked odd.  I eventually re-installed the original lenses as the LED lights just didn't sit well with me on the car.

I guess I'm more traditionally oriented...the LED's just didn't "fit" to my eyes.  Nothing against the LED units themselves...they worked fine...just my personal preference.

It depends on the LEDs.   If they have the preload, as many do, they will use the same power and the flashers will not be affected.   If you use the straight LEDs with out the preload, the flasher will act like you have a bad bulb, and not blink properly.  That can be solved with an electronic flasher unit.

Yeah...some LEDs have a "delayed reaction" syndrome, where they may not come on very well, especially in a turn signal/brake light function. The electronic flasher seems to do the trick. LEDs just don't take as much amperage to work, and with a "normal" flasher, may not put enough heat in the contacts to work properly.

I still have not found the location of the second flasher unit (for the emergency flasher).  The turn signal unit is above and to the left of the fuse module.  Does anyone know where the second flasher is located?

On my '74, both are right around the fusebox. They were originally taped up to the harness, but over the years, the tape has let loose.
Do the hazzard lights work? If so, turn them on, and follow the "click-click".
Gotta be someone here with a Service manual for a '72 that can tell us where the flasher is supposed to be....

The second flasher is probably inside the console, near the shifter mechanism.  In some model years it's located there.  If you take the passenger side panel off you should be able to see it (if, in fact it is in the console).  I'm just not sure which model years had it there...I know the '78 I owned did.

Bob,

Perfert!  That is what I needed.

BTW my interior really does look like the picture I sent, but only because I'm restoring the car.  I'm little behind schedule, but I hope to have everthing back together in a month.  I figured I would update the tailights while everything is apart and easy to reach.  I'm also changing every bulb in the dash, regardless if it works now or not.

Thanks again.
