I removed the starter, after disconnecting battery ground, as part of replacing the rear main seal.  Also removed instrument cluster to replace printed circuit and all related light bulbs.  Put it all back in reverse and have absolutely no power to ignition, instruments or starter.  Checked voltage at battery and solenoid (12.42) fusible links at starter have same voltage and zero resistance.  Is there something under dash behind instrument cluster that I may have disconnected that would kill all power?  I have removed cluster and checked fuses and all visible connections, still scratching my head.

Problem solved.  The wiring harness leading from the solenoid up to the engine compartment where it then goes through the firewall was disconnected.  I had disconnected the starter with all the wires still connected to it.  I must have pulled the connector loose.  Dumb mistake that cost me many hours under the car and under the dash with a multimeter. Palm smack forehead repeatedly.

I'm dealing with the same exact issue at the moment.  Can you post a picture of the connector you're talking about?

Thanks
Steve
