Alright doctors, Lukas can't figure this one out.
Ran a new engine harness and all is hooked up and triple checked everything. Found some BUBBA work with the wiper circuits, seems that Bubba spliced in a 12V acc source to the white wires for both the wiper motor and the wiper pump.
Well, thinking that a new harness would de-Bubba everything and clean up the engine compartment, I was wrong. Bubba did this because there is apparently an issue somewhere else. So, here is what I have done so far:
Checked with a test light in the wiring with the wiper switch on and the key in the run psn - no juice.
Ran a jumper to the wiper motor with 12V - motor is good.
Pulled fuse and checked both sides of the fuse with a test light and a good ground - no juice on either side...
So, I see on the wiring diagram that it looks like the power coming into the wiper circuit at the fuse block looks like a heavy 3.0 (about a 12ga wire) Brown wire in the ignition switch.
Is this my next probe? I couldn't see the brown wire running anything else....
If everything else is working, is it worth digging into the ignition switch? I'd really hate to start cutting up a pristine $$$$ harness, but did bubba take a practical solution?
