Their should only be one turn signal flasher. there is also a  hazard lights flasher. pwr comes from fuse to the flasher, from flasher to steering column, back out to the bulbs, to ground. the ground is through the bulbs

Have you checked the fuse? power to the flasher? It could still be in the combanation switch in the column.

I have a bulb out in the dash and don't see anything flashing, but I can tell you that the actual bulbs outside the car are blinking. I believe the PC is only there for dash lights as far as your signals go. You may still have the actual signals working...

ok.  Here is what we know about Jose:
1.  The Flashers are working
2.  The turn signals are not working (Both inside the car and outside.  Correct??)
3.  The fuse is good.
Conclusion:  Must be a grounding problem or broken wire, could be something as simple as a bulb being burnt out!!
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it!!

thanks Dan. that's what i was thinking too. but, if the bulbs are bad why do i have flashers? and all four bulbs are out at the same time? i was thing a bad ground but some one told me they ground at the socket and there's no ground wire under the dash.

Here is how it goes pwr from the fuse to the flasher, from flasher into steering column to combination sw , out the column tolight bulbs, then to ground the flahers are a seperate circuit through the combination switch

My 79 has both flashers on the fusebox, I believe its the flasher on the right. Replace thje flasher first (they're cheap). On mine the flasher kept coming loose so I stuck some putty on it.

i put the flasher from the hazards that i knew was working and it still didn't work. is there a ground under the dash some where or could it be a broken wire that is in the plastic covering. what color are the wires? its probably something stupid like a loose wire or connector under the dash.

i feel the same way, i cant move forward until i fix this. read the shop manual last nite, the shop manual states to "replace flasher, flasher is located behind dash near steering column" is there a second flasher for the turn lights? my 73 Camaro has two flashers for the turn lights. when i read about the hazard lights it said  "replace flasher, flasher is located in fuse panel" this mentions the haz flasher in the fuse panel, but says the turn flasher is behind dash near steering column. doesnt say to replace the one in the fuse panel.

I see three flashers on that diagram:
1.  Hazard Flasher
2.  Anti-theft Flasher
3.  Directional Flasher.

reading the manual, it says. if turn signal fuse is OK and hazard warning system will operate lamps, replace defective turn signal flasher. defective flasher( located behind instrument panel near steering column).
in a different section it says, the turn signal flasher is mounted to the instrument panel lower lip in a clip bracket. is there a second turn flasher? my 73 camaro has two.
