Soitainly!
You'll have to remove the raditater, and loosen the A/C condenser mounts, and that'll give ya enough room to wrangle the cam out, and back in. I did this prolly 20 times in my old '72, way back when.
Then again, my brother and I could rip the engine out of that thing in about 20 minutes, too, so....practice makes quick!LOL

That's a good cam selection.Thumbs Up Very torquey - had one in my Malibu with a 355 back in the day. Tire expenses were a problem...Wacko

IS this in a stock engine? The 268 might be a bit much with low compression. It'll sure sound good tho. IT will certainly give ya more bottom end torque, depending on the trans, and rear gear ratio. It's a good cam, fer sher.

For whatever it's worth......

Last year I was able to get some advice from former contributing editor to Vette Magazine Dave Emanuel for the following upgrades to my 1980 L48 350.

Comp Cam, Duration @ .050: 210 / 220; Lobe Lift: .3340 / .3420; Separation: 112 degrees; Gross Valve Lift: .501 / .513

Edelbrock E-Street Aluminum Heads, 64-cc combustion chambers

Cyclone Plus intake manifold

Holley Street Avenger 770-cfm carb

Holley Fuel Pump, 80-gpm

Patriot Headers

Aluminum Dual Exhaust, 2 1/2-inch

Magnaflow Mufflers

I have yet to put her on a dyno but it has been "guestimated" to be putting out about 350 - 375 hp.  It's got good torque on the low end and you can definitely feel / hear the lope of the cam without it being extreme.

I like it a lot.

Just my 2-cents.  Good luck.
