Here's another vote for q-jet. Assuming they're re-built properly with a good kit and all the right stuff done to 'em (i.e. new bushings for the primary throttle shaft if necessary) you can't beat 'em for street-ability. And they're not too bad on mileage since the giant secondaries only kick in when you get into it a bit. (That is if you can avoid getting into it too often.

Can't remember, do the regular old E-brock performers (dual plane) fit under stock hoods with stock air cleaners? I think it's close if remember correctly. Performer is probably easier to find than the L-82 aluminum......
