I've pulled the motor in my 82 corvette and during the process bent the return line and it broke...however i'm going to a carburated crate motor from the cross fire injection...the question is can i just cap off the fuel return line or do i need to replace it if i'm running carburated? Thanks in advance Ryan

Depends on the fuel pump you use. If the pump has a return fitting, then use it. Just cut off the damaged return line, and splice in a new section.
If the pump has no return fitting, then you WILL need to plug the return line on the frame, or you'll siphon all of the fuel out of the tank first time you fill it.(right, Spielman?)

Man I wish we could get away with that out here in Cal. The Governor froze the smog laws at 1975, meaning 1975 and older are classics and are not held to smog checks Unhappy. I just finished building a motor for my '81 Cry. I guess I could look for an older car o put it in Ouch.
