Hey yall what is this between the alternator and the master cylinder? And do I need it on my 77?

Hard to tell, but it kinda looks like a cruize control servo. Does it have vacuum lines going to it? OR a cable to the throttle on the carb?

Most of the factory solenoids were mounted at the DS rear of the intake manifold.

Well while I was chasing vacuum lines I blew a head gasket so guess what Ive been doing today. BTW the cruise control thingy is now gone!
