I have a very slow leak in my rear main seal, not bad enough to bother with replacing at the moment.  A friend recommended  White Shepherd Rear Main Sealer and had used is successfully.  Anybody used it and if so, what were the results?

Never heard of it myself. What the heck is it? Something you pour into the engine oil?

The reviews I read on amazon seem to like it.  They are not all that happy with the transmission sealer but the engine sealer seemed to do the trick for them.  Google it lots of info

May werk just fine...Idano...
The problem I have with things that pour into something to "stop" leaks is....they mostly swell seals, and then the leaks stop/slow. However....how does it know when to STOP swelling the seals?
Most of the leak-stop stuff I've seen eventually causes the seals to completely spit out. Remember back when everyone used brake fluid to stop leaks? Same principle.
As I said, I ain't never used any of the above stuff, or ever even heard of it, so I can't say for sure...just going from experience.
