Unless you know the name of the feller that bought it, and can contact him, we/you will definitely need a VIN. More info, such as body/interior color, engine size, trans(auto/manual), and any modifications that may have been done to it will help narrow down the search.
If you can come up with the VIN, you can do a search
HERE to see if it is registered at C3VR to one of our members. After that, you might be able to do a Title Search with your state DMV. A little harder to do these days, but worth a shot.
We'll help as much as we can to try and reunite you with your Dad's old Corvette.
