if it were my 454/390 - I would be dropping 93 octane just like the others.

ps - welcome to the forum.

Welcome to C3VR.. I guess it's what you want...I find with my car to keep it tuned to the higher end of horsepower output I need to use 5 gallons of Turbo blue..its expensive but the car runs great with it!! I have to dial back my timing and idle mixture to get it to run ok with the 93 ethanol gas..like I said though..its all in what you want..or in how much you want to spend to drive it..my biggest problem with tuning it to run on the high octane is that I can only drive the 200 miles before I need gas again..Turbo blue is hard to find at times so I have to change stuff around if I'm going on a longer ride..if you can do that on your own and am willing to do so then it may work for you too!
