Don't laugh about the clothes pins....it does work. I used to have a pic of a 66 Corvette that had about 30 of them on the fuel line from the pump to the carb. While everyone else was sitting by the side of the road with vapor lock, this guy was sitting there with the A/C running, saying, "I toll ya so...who's laughing now, ya smart arses?"
I've heard all of the "scientific" reasons why it doesn't work, so spare me that....I know that it DOES work. Perhaps it's all psychological...
Wrapping the line with foil should actually hold in the heat, but I've seen that many times, too.
Go figure...
