Scott,
The guys @ Pony are wrong. You will definitely need the 7028207 Q-Jet. Larry is right about the 327/350, it used the 7028219 carb. The "212" & "213" Q-Jets are not Vette carbs.
The good news is that in '68, the date code was stamped on the base plate, and you can swap a correctly dated base plate with the correct "207" carb and "build" the correct carb. After 1968 the julian date code was stamped on the carb body under the carb's numbers.
As always, the 6-month prior to build date applies on the date code. The date code for the carb relates to the build date of the car, not the engine. The carb was mated to the engine in St. Louis, not Flint.
The bad news, is that these carbs are hard to find & expensive when found (unless you get lucky). It took me 2 years to find mine. I then bought a couple of "212" carbs on E-Bay for $50 to get the correct date code.
When was yor car built? I have 3 "212/213" Q-jets with dates of 0198, 0438 & 1488.
Shoot me an E-Mail & I'll send you some good carb sources and some pics of the carb if you need any help.
P.S..............Ken the 7029207 carb is correct for the '69 350/300 with a manual trans. Your date code should be stamped on the carb body just under the numbers. The 7029207 carb was also as a service carb and there are a lot of them out there. Check your date to be sure it was made before the buid date of the car.
Good luck,
Anthony
