Sorry I have now been around much to help keep you CFI guys informed on the new Renegade manifold that I was given the opportunity to test for DCS! I've since moved and been very busy in my businesses (Two Chevron Stores)  Anyway, DCS is doing a pre-buy for the manifold. Go to their site: http://crossfireinjection.net/DCS%20Renegade.html for more info on this.

They should have the dyno pulls and numbers available soon on their site - these will also include the dyno pulls from my 82, where we gained 33 RWHP with this plug n play manifold. ALSO, they will finally be posting pics of the top secret insides of this beast. I have had pics from the beginning, but they said I would never get a Renegade if I ever released them anywhereLOL
When you see a stock CFI manifold next to a Renegade, you will clearly see why the Crossfire could nerer breath correctly - BIG difference in the two manifolds!!!

There has been a lot of talk on the forums about the Renegade - some of it being wrong info. So, any questions you may have, PLEASE go straight to the source - Jim and Tom at DCS will answer all questions.

As for me, I would gladly put my name on the Renegade if they let me...... the thing works and works well!!

Thanks for the info Phill.  Ive been tracking the progress and this will be my next upgrade.  Not sure my wallet will be ready for the pre-production orders but I wont be far behind.  I see the price has finally been officially announced at DCS and it's not bad at all for a 33 RWHP gain.

Hi Phil: I got the e-mail from Jim and am getting on the list. Thumbs%20Up I have to do some checking to see which GMPP crate engines it will match up with. Jim told me that it will not match up the the Vortec Heads.

Cool Tim and welcome to the Renegade club!

No, didn't get to keep the manifoldCry The one on mine was actually THE only Renegade as it was the prototype. I was really bummed the weekend we removed it, but I had it on for about 3 weeks and enjoined a good 1,300 miles of testing both in city and freeway.

I also noted an increase in my mpg of 1 - 2 mpg which seems to be an added bonus! The mpg increase I'm sure was actually better, but I just could not drive at  a steady "normal" speed and acceleration for any testable length of time.....LOL

When we switched it back to my OEM CFI manifold and I drove home that night, the difference was incredible! It was a sad drive home like they took my friend from me - I had to keep telling myself that it is ok, I'm still driving a C3 and that made me feel good again!Big%20smile
