Knowing that the companion car to the LT1, the ZR1, was built with mandatory options and option deletes; was the LT1 also built with mandatory options and deletes?

Thanks for that.  I've been able to find several reliable sources that list GM's mandatory adds and deletes for the ZR1s (which my car is only a replica of) but not for the LT1.  In some states of Australia the engine can be upgraded to an available engine (for example, to the LT1 that's in my car) without causing registration problems but only when all other components have been upgraded to suit.  Thus far I've found no reliable listing of mandatory GM adds/deletes for the LT1, nor any indication before your message that there are any.  Would you be able to help?

You have already answered part of the question. The ZR-1 RPO included the LT-1 engine option. The 1970 AIM actually has all of the LT-1 RPO requirements that needed to be changed on the car when the LT-1 RPO was to be included. Unfortunately, they are not all in one place, but they are spread out throughout the book. I also have a copy of the GM dealership sales pamphlet that states the inclusions for the RPO, and I also have cpoies of the original technichal specifications for the Corvette for 1970 that lists all of the inclusions and deletes, and the AMA specifications for passanger cars for 1970.
