Is this heater control panel supposed to be black and silver trimmed like the rest of the console or just silver??

1: Over. Looks right to me as is.
2: Black, with the edges cleaned to show the chrome/silver, same as the other trim.
3: Not sure what we're looking at, but it might be a rubber bumper there.
4: No specific place per se, but one in each corner is the most common spot, as well as a 3rd one in the center if wanted. Of course, water will drain onto the engine below...

the first picture is definitely not right.

either the window pillar sits over the top corner trim or it gets trimmed off.  as it is now there is an 1/8" inch gap.

can someone take a picture of theirs and post it?

as for the heater control..  good.  that means i just need a lens.

as to the holes in the inside of the decklid...  they look well and they had many layers of paint in them.  doesn anyone have an early convertible they can compare it to?

as for drain holes in the hood.  can anyone send me another example?  there appear to be dimples near the center.  about 1.5 inches to either side.

I was apparently looking at the wrong piece...dint even notice the side pillar molding...
Yeah...that ain't right!

As far as the holes in the hood, ya don't really hafta have them if ya don't want them. A lil bit of water won't hurt, and you can always wipe it dry. Tongue  When we put the L88 hood on the '72 way back when, we only put a small 1/8" hole right in the center of the "v", iirc.
