When I moved to Arizona, I set up all my insurance with one local company. When my car arrived I took it, my records and bill of sale to my insurance rep. I had drafted a letter stating what I had into the car and my expected value of the car. We came to an agreed value and that is what the car has on it for insurance. I got that in writing. I'm driving this car so, it is out there for others to hit. I've been tapped twice since I moved here. Really, nothing but a couple of marks on the side that polished out and a scrape down to metal on the left headlight top.
That is a nice ride you have there. If you do plan to drive it, you'll have to feel protected. If not, it will take all the fun out of driving it.
Having fun in the desert.
All the best.
