Placed an order with Corvette Central on 2/2/2012.  The return email indicated that the order would be shipped on or about the 10th.  It was not and subsequently it took 4 attempts to get them to tell me when I could expect the order.  Finally, yesterday they indicated that a part in the order was due in on the 27th and the order would be shipped after that.  Bottom line is that if I had any idea that their order/ship time was close to a month, I would have ordered from another source.  Seems like Corvette Central does not want business with service like that.  Riks is never more than two days.

I always wonder how hard it is for a company to let you know that something you ordered is not in the warehouse. I don't order to much and always ask what they have in stock before I order anything...I had great luck with the Corvette America and Mid America..what did you order that they didn't have?

I hate to admit that I ordered a complete exhaust system for my 64.  CC did not have a complete set and thus the issue described.  The reason I ordered the complete set was to replace the side pipes on the 64; they were just too loud for an old helicopter pilot who can't hear squat.  Indeed, I know that the side pipes are more desireable but so is the opportunity to either hear the radio or carry on a conversation with your passenger.  Yes, I will keep the side pipes but for now, they must come off.  Getting old is a b$%@h but it is far better than the other option.
