Well...this is gunna sound stoopid, and I prolly know the answer anyway, but I gotta ask....are you sure the upper control arms are on the correct side of the car? They will fit on either side, but the wheels will not be centered properly if reversed, or one of them is wrong. I said it was a stoopid question, but still had to ask. NO offense intended. Big smile
That's really the only thing I can think of if you are certain the frame is right....

Yes they are correct but not saying one wasn't damaged and is kicked back a little farther They arent very rigid and I remember them flexing quite a bit when I was pressing the bushings in The pass side is perfect The drivers is too far back In thinking about going to offset upper brackets, are the upper brackets slotted ?

Neither the tabs on the frame, nor the control arm shafts are slotted, as far as the originals. Some of the aftermarket stuff does have slotted shafts, I think, to allow different adjustment limits. Don't know that any of them would actually move the ball joint/steering axis forward or backward, but they might.

I just had another thought....and that will be my limit for this week....LOL

Take a look at the control arm on that side, where the alignment shims go....you stated earlier that you were taking it to the alignment place. I wonder if they put too many shims in the front, and that has the ball joint too far to the rear? That would move the centerline of that wheel rearward....putting the wheel farther back in the wheelwell, as well as making the wheelbase on that side shorter....

Might be a far-fetched idea, but....I've had worse....LOL

i think i may try some after market upper control arms.
i just remeber there being a lot of flex on them.  very well could be bent 1/2" from something as simple as jumping a curb but not sever enough to "look damaged"

im still stuck at the same place.  the front wheel spacing isnt even.

are there any corvette body experts near me (arkansas).  at this point I am at wits end.  i would be willing to take the car a couple hundred miles to get an expert to look at it and tell what I need to do to move ahead.

body work is not my forte.

Ben, I asked for recommendations for you over on the NCRS Tech board. If there is a good, reliable place that can help you figure this out, someone will let me know, and then I'll pass that info on to you, asap. Big smile
