Right now I'm running 245/60/15sSmile on the Vette and I'm looking to switch to 50 seriesCool.  Wanted to know a good size to put on which is not too big?

50s may require you to modify wheel openings and or go to offset trailing arms in the rear. I know at least on 79s, 50's will almost definitely rub the inner fenders in the front - I had that issue with 255/60-15s.

Hope it works out for you.

Here is a tire size comparision calculator it will help you to know extra width and height calculations by tire sizes.
The biggest wheel I put on the vettes.. rear 255/35/20, front 245/35/20 these are with a 0 offset rim.
Sometimes in order to get the bigger tire on the rear I reposition the e-brake cable holder that is on the trailing arm.
Hope it helps you some.
