Is there a place to get adjustable rear strut rods for a C3 besides Mid American, Ecklers etc?

Vette Brakes and Products, Inc. is about the best place. If you buy struts from someplace else this is probably where they come from. Don't have my catalog here at the office but I think heavy duty adjustable rear struts are about $150.00 a pair. I'm about to buy a set of these myself.

I agree that VPB is a great source, but, like Phil, I got mine from Van Steel and they are not only good quality, but look better (IMHO) than VPB's.  Sort of a cadmium-look finish. Sure beat the original equipment struts!

I purchased my entire suspension and steering from Van Steel.  Good products and excellent service.

What about replacing the bracket along with the new strut rods...anyone done that, and what benefit. I see the bracket sold also.

Just my opinion, but adjustable strut rods are a waste of time and money.  If you use them, you must also replace the old adjuster bolts with fixed bolts, or there is no point in it.  And the factory system works just fine and is cheaper.

I partley agree with Larry about Just installing the adjustable strut rods without installing the VBP lowering bracket, you might as well go with the cheapo stock set up and save some money, the bracket on the VBP  set up lowers the strut at the rear end side and with the car on the ground in the static position the strut is more in a level position where as the stock setup is at an angle, the more angle the more movement and camber change with wheel travel which means  a less centered  tire contact patch accross the tire at any givin time,  with the VBP setup less tire wear and sideloading and the back end sticks, ...." I use it, I love it"
