E brake parts breaking and getting in between the shoes and the drum could make a heckuva racket....Iron Mike experienced that at last year's CFAC...

darn, you are correct.  It is Luke.  Hot and Dry as I recall.  We use to have AF bases in Michigan, now there is none.  Also Wisconsin and Ill.    Now only one in  Indiana.   Can you name that one!!!!

I forgot about Scott being in Ill.  Grissom is in Indiana.  K.I. Saywer was near Marquette Michigan.  Many years ago was a place called Kinchlow (not spelled right) AFB.

Please try to stay on topic, folks!

Have you had a chance to try to locate the noise yet?

SorryEmbarrassed.I am still trying to arange a tow to the shop.I did crawl under it and found the cable for e-brake was really out of adjustment. The nut that puts tension onto the bracket that the  cable gose around  was not touching the bracket. However I got a list of things to change or check in the rear of the car.Getting it to the shop and the time are my biggest problems.
