OK Guys, I need some advise here on something.  I have replaced all of my park brake hardware some time back and have piddled with getting everything adjusted but all the procedures I can find state that Im to turn the star wheel until the brake rotor is locked and then back off 7 - 8 teeth.  The problem is that even with my park brakes OFF and the car in Neutral (Automatic Trans) I still have trouble turning the rotor, it requires real effort to turn it by hand.  I think part of the problem is that the suspension is "hanging" with the trailing arms pulled fully down by the rear spring.  Will it make any difference in the effort needed to turn the rotor if the T-arm were at "drive height"?  I believe it would but without removing the rear transverse spring (which I dont want to do..been there, done that once before) I dont know how to keep the T-arms at drive height without jacking something up.  Where do I put the jack to raise the T-arms without damaging something?

Use a small bottle or floor Jack and small block of wood to the bottom of the trailing arm

Your brakes should not be affected by ride height.  You might need to back off another click or two until they don't drag, but still engage when you pull the lever.
